What if I forget my password?

If you ever forget your Yahoo! ID or password, we need to confirm your identity using the birthday, ZIP code, and Challenge Question and Answer that you provided during registration.

When we confirm your identity, we'll send your ID or new password to the alternate email address that you gave us, also during registration. If you've entered any of this information incorrectly, we won't be able to remind you of your ID or send you a new password.

We provide "Account Information" links throughout our sites to allow you change or update this information at any time.

Please Note: Your birthday, Challenge Question, and Secret Answer cannot be updated online.
