How do I request special oxygen supply for in-flight use?

We strongly suggest that you contact our Customer Care Center or the airline directly after completing your reservation. You must give airlines 48 hours advance notice when requesting supplemental/medical oxygen for in-flight use. Most airlines charge per flight segment for the oxygen.

FAA prohibits the use of personal oxygen tanks during a flight. You can check empty tanks as baggage. The airlines provide oxygen for in-flight use only, not for use at ground locations. You need to make separate arrangements for availability on the ground such as departure, connection or arrival locations. You must also provide a medical certificate listing the passenger name, rate of flow per minute, and physician's permission to travel.
