If I don't agree to schedule changes made to my itinerary, can I use the ticket at a later date?

Any changes made to your confirmed itinerary are initiated by the airline. In most cases the airline offers you the closest flights available to your original choices.

Generally, if a passenger cannot make the new flight schedule offered by the airline, the only other option is to refund the ticket. All authorization for refunds must be granted by the airline. Travel agents cannot grant refunds without the permission of the airline. When granted, refunds usually takes 2 to 3 billing cycles to be credited back to the original form of payment.
