If you've tried Smart Tools and wish to turn it off, select the Turn off this feature option in the Smart Tools menu. To turn off Smart Tools, follow these steps:

1. Highlight any text on a web page.
2. Click the Smart Tools icon, and select Turn off this feature from the menu.

Another way to disable Smart Tools is through the Toolbar Settings page. To do this, click the Settings button, select Preferences, then uncheck Enable Smart Tools when selecting text.
