To copy text to your clipboard with Smart Tools, simply highlight the text, click the Smart Tools icon, and select "Copy". You can then paste the text from the clipboard into whichever application you choose by using that application's method for pasting text, such as Ctrl-V or clicking the right mouse button and selecting "Paste".
