If you're receiving the following message from Yahoo! Anti-Spy and cannot run Yahoo! Anti-Spy:
"The installation of the scanning component required by Anti-Spy has been changed. Please update this Anti-Spy installation."
this means there was a problem when Yahoo! Anti-Spy last updated itself. Please remove and reinstall Yahoo! Anti-Spy by doing the following:
To reinstall Yahoo! Anti-Spy, simply select "Run Anti-Spy" from the Anti-Spy button on the Yahoo! Toolbar and follow the instructions to download and install.
When Yahoo! Anti-Spy is installed, you should be able to run Yahoo! Anti-Spy without any errors or warnings by clicking "Run Anti-Spy" under the Anti-Spy button.
