By default, Yahoo! Anti-Spy checks for updates automatically upon startup. You're informed if a new version is available when you launch the application by clicking the Anti-Spy icon ( or ) on the Yahoo! Toolbar and selecting "Run Anti-Spy".

If a new version of Yahoo! Anti-Spy is available, you're prompted to download and install the update. Simply follow the instructions to update your Yahoo! Anti-Spy. The download includes a new version of Yahoo! Anti-Spy and the latest version of the detection database.

If you've disabled the "Check for Updates on Startup" option, or you wish to check for updates manually, you can click "Check for Updates" on the main Yahoo! Anti-Spy window; it will then check for any updates.
