To use Yahoo! Anti-Spy, first start your browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox) and then look for the Anti-Spy button:

Clicking the Anti-Spy icon presents you with a menu. To launch the application, select "Run Anti-Spy". From the main screen, click "Begin Scan" to scan your computer for spyware and adware.

On the main screen there are "Advanced Options". If you check the box for "Scan for Tracking Cookies" the scan also includes cookies that are used to track your web browsing behavior for the purpose of displaying targeted advertising.

When the scan is completed, you see the "Scan Results" window. This window gives you more information on detected item(s). You can learn more about each item by selecting and clicking "View Details" (highly recommended) or you can simply remove an item by selecting it and clicking "Remove".
