There is a version of Windows Media Player 11 that does not properly stretch, or reduce video content. Sometimes the video ends up being squished to about 1/2 to 1/3 height, or ends up only showing the upper-left quarter of the video.

Microsoft has released the following plug-in to solve this problem:
