How do I see the product properly if I’m running pop-up blocking software?

If you're running pop-up blocking software, you may not be able to use Yahoo! Video properly. These applications include the Google Toolbar, Panicware, and new versions of Netscape and AOL. Here are a few ways to work around this software:

  • Make sure your pop-up blocker is set to medium. If the pop-up blocker is set on high, it will block the Yahoo! Video player window from appearing.
  • Hold down the "Shift" or "Ctrl" key on your keyboard to temporarily disable the pop-up blocker.
  • Uninstall the pop-up blocker software from your computer.

You may be getting blocked from Internet Explorer.

  • In your browser, click on "Tools."
  • Click "Internet Options."
  • Click "Privacy."
  • Click "Settings."
  • Where it says "Address of Web site to allow:" enter “*.yahoo.com”.
This should prevent you from being blocked.

If you're still having problems, please contact the company that you purchased or downloaded the pop-up blocker software from and let them know you'd like to view content on Yahoo! but their software isn't allowing you to. Their customer service should assist you.
