How do I configure Internet Explorer for a Mac?

To configure your Internet Explorer browser for a Macintosh:

  1. Click on "Explorer," located on the IE 5 menu bar.
  2. Select "Preferences... ."
  3. Click "Security Zones."
  4. Select "Custom Level" on the left side of the window.
  5. Click on "Settings."
  6. Configure the six categories by following the directions below:
    • Active X Controls and Plug-ins—Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins, and Initialize and Script ActiveX controls.
    • Downloads—Enable File Download.
    • Miscellaneous—Set Software Channel Permissions to Medium.
    • Scripting—Enable all options in this category.
  7. Click "OK."
  8. Select "General" on the left side of the window.
  9. Click "Settings" (button is located in the Temporary Internet Files category).
  10. Click the option marked "Every visit to the page."
  11. Click "OK."
  12. Click the "Delete Files" button (button is located in the Temporary Internet Files category).
  13. Click "OK."
  14. Click "Apply," located at the bottom.
  15. Click "OK."
  16. Click the "Refresh" icon on the Tool bar and try the broadcast again.
