Yes! You can use Yahoo! Site Solution and even publish your site when your domain is pending, but your published site will appear at a temporary address.

If you just signed up for your plan, your domain may still be pending. Pending means that your domain is not yet active across the Internet. The pending state occurs for all domain registrations and changes. Learn more.

We set up a temporary web address that you can use until your domain becomes active. The temporary address will look something like this:

http://widgetdesigns.com.p6.hostingprod.com

(You can find your own temporary address on the Home tab of your Web Hosting Control Panel.)

If you publish your site while your domain is pending, you can view your site at this temporary address by clicking the View My Site link on your Web Hosting Control Panel; we'll also include a link to your site in the confirmation message that appears after you publish. As soon as your domain becomes active, we'll send you an email and make sure that your published site is available at your own domain.

Note: If you are using a domain you registered prior to signing up for your plan, and your domain is still pending after 72 hours, you may need to check with your registrar.
