Why can't I find my PayPal settings?

You can find different settings for your PayPal buttons in these three places:

  • Site Settings
  • Page Settings
  • Item Settings

Site Settings
If you have added PayPal buttons to your Site Solution site, you can visit this area to choose new button styles for your Buy Now, Pay Now, or Donate buttons or change your PayPal email address. Your PayPal email address is associated with all of the PayPal buttons on your site.

To reach these settings:

  1. Click the Site Settings link in your Site Solution toolbar

  2. Click the "PayPal settings" link.

Note: that you will only see a "PayPal settings" link in the Site Settings dialog menu when you have an active PayPal page in your site. Learn how to add PayPal.

Page Settings
When you have a Products and Services page or PayPal page open for editing, you can visit Page Settings to activate or deactivate PayPal on that page.

To reach these settings:

  1. Click the Page Settings link in the upper-right corner of your screen.

  2. Click the "Enable PayPal" or "Disable PayPal" link.

    Note that if you opened a page type other than PayPal or Products and Services by mistake, you won't see a PayPal link. An active PayPal link means you're working with a page that supports PayPal. (Learn how to see if your page supports PayPal.).

Item Settings
You use the Item Settings dialog to enter prices, shipping information, and other details about each item on a PayPal page.
