No, PayPal buttons are not shopping cart tools, nor can they be attached to a Yahoo! Merchant Solutions shopping cart. Whereas an online shopping cart allows a buyer to pay for a number of different items with a single payment, a PayPal button is associated with a single item.
When one of your visitors wants to make a payment, they will click the corresponding PayPal button, which will open a new window to complete the transaction on the PayPal web site. If you choose the "Allow more than one of this item" option when you enter details for an item, your visitors will be able to purchase more than one of that individual item in a single order; however, they will not be able to purchase different items during the same transaction.
Funds sent to you via your PayPal buttons will be delivered to the email address you specify when activate PayPal on your site. Those funds will remain in your PayPal account until you withdraw them to your bank account or use PayPal to send money to someone else.
Please be aware that these funds will not be delivered to your Yahoo! Web Hosting or Merchant Solutions account. Learn about receiving payments with PayPal buttons.
