You can move an image you added with your editing toolbar by dragging it within a content area or by copying and pasting it into a new location.
(Note that images in a gallery work a little differently. Learn how to reorder gallery images.)
You can drag an image anywhere within the content area in which it appears. (You will not be able to drag it into a different content area.) To drag an image, just click on the area once to activate it for editing, then click on the image. Holding down your mouse, drag the image to a new location. Let go of your mouse to place the image.
If you want to move an image from one content area to another, on the same or a different page, you'll need to cut and paste.
- Click once in an editable area (inside one of the dotted-line boxes). You'll see the editing toolbar appear.
- Click on your image to select it. (When the image is selected, you'll see small squares appear on its border.)

- If you no longer want your image to appear in its current location, press Ctrl and X on your keyboard (Command+X on a Mac), or click the Cut
on your editing toolbar. If you just want to copy the image, press Ctrl+C (Command+C on a Mac), or click the Copy
button. (Sorry, the Cut and Copy buttons are not available in the Firefox browser.)
- Go to the page into which you want to paste the image and click in a content area.
- Paste your image into your page by pressing Ctrl+V (Command+V on a Mac), or clicking the Paste button
(not available in the Firefox browser).
