When you begin the WordPress activation process, you'll be asked to choose a user name and password for your WordPress blog. Select your user name and password carefully, just as you would when signing up for any other service. Keep in mind that your user name is case sensitive (USER and user, for example, are considered different names), and choose a password that's easy for you to remember but difficult for a stranger to guess. And be sure to make a note of your selections: You'll need this user name and password when you're ready to sign in to your WordPress account and manage your blog.
Because your Yahoo! ID and password are linked to not only your Yahoo! Small Business plan but also your account and billing information, personal settings, email, and more, it's essential that you guard this information vigilantly. For this reason, Yahoo! strongly suggests that you never use the same ID and password to sign up for another service or account, particularly one accessed or managed through your Yahoo! control panels, such as WordPress. For your own security, then, when you are asked to select a WordPress user name and password during the activation process, you will be unable to select your Yahoo! ID and password.
Please note that after you activate WordPress, you will be able to change your password anytime from your WordPress control panel. Again, we strongly recommend that you do not use the same password associated with your Yahoo! plan.
