If you see an alert warning you of a mismatched security certificate when you access one of your pages, your site might using an out-of-date reference to our secure server.
Mismatched security certificate error:
Your pages are still secure; however, you might be using the old reference to our servers in your store order settings or in the code that supports your website or store. You are seeing a mismatched certificate alert because the old web address doesn't match the new server address.
After October 15, 2008, if you use the old web address, your customers could encounter this warning message when they visit your secure pages. To assure your visitors that your site is secure, we encourage you to change your code to refer to the new SSL web address as soon as possible.
Where You Might Need to Make Changes
If you built your store with Store Editor, you might have entered the secure web address in your Real Time Links, or when you set up your shipping and tax rates. You can use the web address in scripts that protect your form data. And if you have created your own links, you might also need to update links to images stored in your Web Hosting account.
How to Change the Secure Address
You can update the secure address in your code with a few quick edits.
Be sure to make this change anywhere the SSL web address appears, then save and republish your website or store.
Note: Only the web address highlighted in step 1 requires changes. If you're using a web address that looks more like http://yourdomain.com/ssl, you're all set!
