Search engines scour the Web for new content, but we've made it easier to get their attention by submitting your site to the top four search engines (Yahoo!, Google, Ask, and MSN) directly.
Submitting your site means simply bringing your web site to the search engines' attention so to get started, make sure you have published your site! If you're using Site Solution or SiteBuilder, just click the yellow Publish button in the upper-right corner of your screen to make your latest work available on the Web.
After your site is submitted, be patient: It can sometimes take weeks for search engines to review your site. Remember, too, that submission doesn't guarantee your site's placement in search results or that it will be included at all!
The First Time
If you used our Site Solution tool to build your site, you don't have to do a thing! We'll submit your site for you when you publish.
If you're using another tool, such as SiteBuilder or your own software, you'll need to tell us when you're ready by clicking a Submit your site link on the Promote page of your Getting Started Wizard (the page is titled, "It's time to announce your site!"), or on the Home and Promote tabs of your Web Hosting Control Panel.
Merchant Solutions customers: Your site is submitted when you set up your account.
Submitting Again
When you make changes and improvements to your web site, you'll want to make sure the search engines come back to take a look, and consider your changes as they rank your site in their search results.
If you're using Site Solution, we'll resubmit your site for you. If you're using another tool, you can resubmit your site by clicking the Submit again link on the Home or Promote tabs of your Web Hosting Control Panel. (You'll also find a Submit your site again link on the Promote page of the Web Hosting setup wizard.)
Note: Submitting your site too often can earn you disfavor from the search engines, so we'll prevent you from submitting your site more than once every 48 hours.
We'll show you the time and date your site was last submitted right on the page.
