To rename a subdirectory in your File Manager:

1. Open your File Manager by clicking the "File Manager" link on the Create & Update, Manage, or Index tabs of your Web Hosting Control Panel.
2. Locate a subdirectory.
3. Click the "Rename" icon next to the subdirectory name:
4. Select the subdirectory you would like to rename from the pull-down menu under "Current Name."
5. Enter the new name for your subdirectory under "New Name."
6. Click the "Rename Subdirectory" button.

Note: If you rename a subdirectory, be sure to adjust any links you may have already created that refer to that subdirectory, or the link will break. Learn more.

To delete a subdirectory in your File Manager:

1. Locate a subdirectory in your File Manager.
2. Click the "Trash" icon next to the subdirectory name:
3. Select the subdirectory you would like to delete from the pull-down menu.
4. Click the "Remove Subdirectory" button.

Important: If you delete a subdirectory, you will permanently remove this folder and any files or subdirectories it contains from your File Manager.
