Why aren't all my files showing up in my File Manager?

If you have a large number of files, it's possible that you will not see all of them when you open your File Manager. There are two ways correct this problem.

You can choose to view a selection of your files by choosing one of these options under "View Files":

  • Check the box next to a file extension (.html, .gif, .jpg, or other) to view only files with that extension (you may have to deselect boxes to limit your selection).
  • Use the pull-down menu to list only files that begin with a certain letter or number.
  • Select "Or, manually type in file names" option to manually enter the file names you would like to view in your File Manager.

You might also consider creating subdirectories for your files to help group them and make your file list more manageable. Learn how to move files into a subdirectory. Please remember when moving files to a subdirectory, you'll need to update any links that refer to those files.

If you are not seeing any files other than index.html (the placeholder page we created for you when you signed up for your plan) listed in your File Manager, it's likely that you have not yet saved or uploaded your pages to your account, or that you deleted previously created files.
