When you delete a subweb, you deactivate that directory and permanently remove the subweb and all of its contents from your hosting account. You can delete a subweb the same way you'd delete any directory from your account, using your online File Manager. Learn how.

If you want to remove publishing privileges for all authors in a subweb, but you don't want to remove that directory and its contents from your account, you may want to simply remove publishing privileges for each author in that subweb or deactivate FrontPage publishing in the individual subweb.
