How do I cancel my Web Hosting plan?

To cancel your Web Hosting plan:

  1. Visit your Business Control Panel. (If you haven't signed in to your account already, you'll be asked to do so here.)
  2. Locate the module that contains the plan you want to cancel and click "Change or Cancel Plan."
  3. In the upper-left corner, select "Cancel Service."
  4. Follow the instructions to cancel your plan.

Please note that your Web Hosting account will revert to a dormant state when you cancel your plan. While the plan is in the dormant state, you will not be able to sign in to your account nor access your web site files. We suggest that you create a backup of all of your files before canceling.

For 30 days after your Web Hosting account is closed, you will be able to reactivate your account simply by signing up for a new Web Hosting plan. If you reactivate your account within these 30 days, you will regain access to your account, with a new billing date. However, any email messages previously stored in mailboxes associated with your account will not be recoverable, and your files may no longer be available.
