These release notes contain a brief list of feature and service changes associated with the June 28 release.

What's New

This release features Sitemaps and changes to Checkout Manager including resolving known issues and one new feature.

Sitemaps
Yahoo! has launched a Sitemaps feature to help new merchants whose pages may not be fully indexed by search engines. The Sitemaps feature can be enabled on the Search Engines page. Once enabled and your Order Settings are published, an updated sitemap XML file will be created each time the Store Editor is published.

Benefits:

• Increases the discoverability of pages by informing search engines that use sitemaps to inform their crawlers.
• Allows merchants to verify site ownership with Google to view errors and other statistics about the domain.

Checkout Manager
Checkout Manager now includes the ability to set the empty cart message (when a buyer enters or updates the cart with no items). This feature can be accessed from the Advanced Settings section within Checkout Manager.

Note: Checkout Manager was renamed Checkout & Registration Manager in 2011.

This release addresses known issues with Checkout Manager and also other miscellaneous issues.
