Merchants can create coupons to attract first-time shoppers, or reward loyal buyers. This functionality is accessible from the Coupon Manager in the Promote column of the Store Manager.
Now you can easily create Coupons redeemable at your store for dollar amount or percentage off, or for free shipping, to use in advertising or special promotions. Once you've created a coupon, you can track it's performance from the Coupon Manager.

Just go to the "Coupon Manager" page in your store Manager to create a coupon code.
Once you've created the Coupon code, you can use it in a newsletter, in print or web advertising, or send it to a specific customer. All your customer has to do to redeem the Coupon is enter the code on the order form page. The discount you specified will automatically be calculated and displayed on the second page of the order form.
You'll also see statistics in the Coupon Manager that allow you to track the effectiveness of your Coupon promotions. For each coupon, you can see how many times it's been used, how much revenue generated, and see graphs of its performance over time. This information can help you understand what kinds of promotions work best for your store.
Coupons are not designed to be used as Gift Certificates. Gift Certificates usually can only be used once, while Coupons can be used an unlimited amount of time until it expires.
What can I include in the Coupon Code?It's best to select a short code for the Coupon Code, since your customer has to type it in. Yahoo! Store Coupon Codes must begin with a letter, and can contain only letters and numbers.
