The Yahoo! Merchant Solutions "link tracker" allows you to assign a special code to each web site that links to your store. This enables you and the webmaster of the referring site to track how many visitors and how many sales arrived at your store via each specifically coded link.
The trackable links generated by the Yahoo! Merchant Solutions software can be used to track traffic through that link to any page in your site.
The tracking information is contained within the trackable URLs generated by the Yahoo! Store software and will only work if the URL is entered or followed exactly as it was created.
You can, however, replace the "index.html" portion of the trackable URLs generated by the Yahoo! Store software so that the trackable link points to any page in your site.
You will need to replace the "index.html" portion of the trackable URL with "pageID.html", where "pageID" is the ID of the page you wish to point the trackable URL to.
You can see the ID of any page in your site by navigating to that page in the Advanced Editor and clicking on the "Edit" button on the Editor toolbar.
