By default, Yahoo! Merchant Solutions sets your store to perform real-time authorization of credit card orders when you have online payment processing set up through your merchant bank account. Enabling real-time authorization allows you to check AVS and CVV information submitted by your customers and run AVS Rules and CVV Rules as part of the Risk Tools feature.

To enable real-time authorizations:

1. From the "Store Manager", click the "Payment Center" link under the Order Settings column.
2. Click the name of your merchant account (PayPal Website Payments Pro, Paymentech, or another FDMS compatible provider).
3. Click edit.
4. Select the checkbox to "authorize before confirming order to customer".
5. Click OK.
6. Return to the Store Manager and publish your order settings.

Your store should now perform real-time authorizations when customers place orders using credit cards that your merchant account is set to support.
