Shipping Address Confirmation

PayPal confirms the buyer's shipping addresses by reviewing the address information supplied by the PayPal account holder and deeming the address as safe based on information about the address. A confirmed address is helpful to sellers as an information tool to make informed decisions when processing a transaction.

Note: You can choose to block payments from U.S. users that do not provide a confirmed address by signing into PayPal and editing your Payment Receiving Preferences on the Profile tab of your account. However, if you also allow buyers to override the shipping address (set in your PayPal account settings at Yahoo!) and the shipping address is not confirmed, the order will not be allowed. As these two settings are incompatible, you must either select "Allow Override" for the Override Shipping Address field in the edit settings of your PayPal account (Store Manager > Payment Center ) or choose not to block unconfirmed addresses at PayPal.
