You have several choices in terms of where you can display PayPal as a payment option. The choices can be selected in the Page Configuration module on the various tabs for pages or in the Payment Center. The choices will depend on your checkout flow settings. Here is a list of the choices based on various flow settings:

• Multi-page checkout, separate shipping and billing
  • Shopping cart (also displays in Payment Method within Billing section when selected)
  • Payment Methods section

• Multi-page checkout, combined shipping and billing
  • Shopping cart (also displays in Payment Method within Billing section when selected)
  • Above the Shipping and Billing sections

• Single-page checkout
  • Above the Shipping and Billing sections
  • Payment Methods section

PayPal can also appear as the sole payment method for merchants that are not using a merchant account to accept and process credit cards online.

Note: It is not possible to enable PayPal as a choice to appear in the drop-down menu containing credit cards that you have selected to display as payment methods.

To select where to display PayPal as a payment method in checkout:

1. From the Store Manager, click the "Checkout & Registration Manager" link.
2. Click the "Page Configuration" link.
3. Click the tab corresponding to the page on which you want to display PayPal as a payment method.
4. Select the check box(es) corresponding to the location you wish to display PayPal. (You can select and preview your choices to see what the page will look like with each option selected).
5. Repeat for any additional pages, saving your changes each time.
6. Return to the Store Manager and publish your order settings when ready.
