The References report indicates the number of unique visitors sent to your site by other servers. The References page includes the referring URL (if available) and the revenue and visits from that URL. To appear in the References report, the referring server must provide the referral information at the time it sends the visitor to our servers. If the referring server does not provide that information, no reference for that visitor is generated.
For many sites, including search engines, you'll see a "Details" link at the end of the line. If you click on that, you'll see detailed data for visitors from that site.
For search engines, you should see the actual search keywords used by your visitors, and how much money was spent by visitors using each keyword. If you want to see which keywords generated the most sales, scroll down to the bottom of the page and change the sort criterion to "By Income."
References are determined by the IP addresses of your visitors. However, because of things like proxy servers and browser caching, References are accurate only about 75% of the time.
You should be able to change the time period and how the data is sorted on this page. So if you want to see what pages in your site are selling the most, change the sort criterion to "By Income," and click on "Show."
