Some Yahoo! Store accounts (merchants who signed up before 09/2003) have multiple users with administrator access, but do not have a store owner assigned. With the launch of Access Manager, which replaces the former "Access" page, a store owner must now be identified.
Administrators of Yahoo! Store accounts without an assigned owner will receive an email notice of owner selection for the store account being required. A notice asking administrators to select a store owner also appears in Store Manager for stores without an assigned owner.
To select a store owner:
Upon selecting an owner, all recipients of this notice will be notified that store ownership has been assigned.
Note: Once a store owner is selected, the user making the selection cannot change or reset the store owner. To request that store ownership be reset, please contact us.
