The Saved Cards tab (My Account) shows a "preferred card." What does this mean?

A preferred card is the saved card that will be used by default in checkout, unless the customer manually selects another saved card, chooses to enter a new card number, or uses a payment method that is not a credit or debit card.

If a customer has saved more than one card, they may change their preferred card at any time, by doing the following:

  1. Signing into their account, and clicking the Saved Cards tab.
  2. Locating the card they wish to make their preferred card on the Saved Cards page.
  3. Clicking the "I prefer this card" button.
