Help! My custom checkout pages are live. How do I undo this?

Note: The following document applies only to merchants that signed up prior to 04/12/2006 have access to the version 1 and 2 checkout flows.

Your shoppers WILL NOT see your custom checkout pages during the first phase of the beta period. If you are seeing your custom checkout pages after placing an item in your shopping cart, it is only because you have set the checkout test cookie.

Checkout Manager pages are published to an entirely different domain (order.store.yahoo.net ) than your existing checkout pages (order.store.yahoo.com).

Setting the test cookie allows you to place test orders from your existing store on your computer and upon clicking your order button you will be redirected to your custom checkout pages. Buyers can not access the new pages and your existing checkout pages will remain unaffected at the current URL.

To confirm your custom checkout pages are not available to shoppers:

  1. Open your browser and delete all cookies:
    • In Internet Explorer, go to the Tools menu, select Internet Options, and click the "Delete Cookies" button.
    • In Firefox, go to the Tools menu, select Options, and click the "Clear" button.
  2. Return to your store and place any item in the shopping cart.

You will see your current checkout pages and not the custom checkout pages (you will see the address bar of your browser shows order.store.yahoo.com).
