How can I see the changes to the checkout CSS file?

From time to time it may be necessary for Yahoo! to update the CSS file associated with your custom checkout pages. If you have downloaded and customized the CSS file for your checkout pages, you will need to download a new copy, merge any customizations into the new file, and reupload the file.

To download the default checkout CSS file:

  1. From the Checkout Manager, click the "Visual Customization" link.
  2. Click the "download" link on the "Global Styles" tab:
    • Default: click "Download default CSS" to download the default CSS file.
    • Global Styles: click "Download global style CSS" to download the CSS file including any changes you have made using the Visual Customization module. This option is preferred as it will have a record of any changes you may have made.
  3. Save file to your computer.

You can now compare the new default file with your local copy of your custom CSS you most recently uploaded. You may wish to consider downloading a file utitlity such as WinMerge can compare two files and show and merge the changes into one file.
