The August 15, 2008 Checkout Manager migration deadline has passed. Stores that have not moved to Checkout Manager will be automatically migrated, but not republished. All merchants are reminded that Order Settings MUST be republished following migration. If you do not republish your Order Settings, your store will not be able to accept orders once the old checkout servers are shut down on September 1. Learn more.

Where can I find developers to help me customize my checkout pages?

What happens if I do not republish following the shutdown of the older checkout systems?
If you don't republish Order Settings after moving to Checkout Manager, your store's checkout will not function once the older checkout systems are shut down on September 1. Once Order Settings are republished, your checkout will again become functional.
How will customizing my cart page change?
Once you've migrated, you will no longer customize the look of your shopping cart using Store Editor. Instead, you can recreate its look using Checkout Manager. As an added benefit, this look will also be applied across all checkout pages.
If you've created top or left navigation regions for your checkout pages using the Checkout Wrapper feature, Checkout Manager lets you choose which pages to display these on. For example, you can choose to show this navigation on the cart page, but hide it on the shipping, billing, or order review pages where it may be distracting to buyers.
Why did you migrate all stores to Checkout Manager?

We also strongly believe that Checkout Manager offers far superior customization capability and features that will allow merchants to optimize their checkout pages and increase overall site conversion.
Checkout Manager is a feature that has been available for some time. Merchants have been able to test and enable Checkout Manager since its beta release in August 2005, and have been able to use it in general release since April 2006.
What are the benefits of using Checkout Manager?
