There is a JavaScript error on my search results page (Editor 2.0 templates and custom templates)

If you're using standard Editor 2.0 templates or custom templates, please verify that the header and footer information that has been populated into the Search-page-header and Search-page-footer variables does not reference a JavaScript code. If it does, this may be the cause of a JavaScript error on your search results page.

For example, if your site design has been customized by a developer, and your header or footer references a JavaScript that has been inserted into the header or footer code, this may have been copied over into your site search results page header or footer and be the cause of the JavaScript error.

  3. Review the code that has been inserted into these variables, and update it if necessary.
  4. Click the "Update" button to save your changes.
