Problems Installing Yahoo! SiteBuilder

If you are having problems installing SiteBuilder, please double-check that Java and JavaScript are fully enabled in your browser:

To check if Java is enabled in Internet Explorer:

  1. Click "Tools" in the menu bar and select "Internet Options".
  2. Select the "Advanced" tab.
  3. Scroll down until you see the sub heading "Java VM".
  4. Check the box next to "JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled".

If you do not see the sub heading "Java VM," then you will need to download and install it into your browser first, before you can install SiteBuilder. Please visit the following URL and download the Java plugin:

http://java.sun.com/webapps/getjava/BrowserRedirect?locale=en&host=java.com:80

This makes it possible for your computer (including Windows XP, Me, NT, 2000, 98, or 95) to run Java/Java applets.

To check if Java is enabled in Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Click "Tools" in the menu bar and select "Options".
  2. Select the "Web Features" icon.
  3. Make sure the check boxes for Java and JavaScript are both selected.

After downloading the Java VM (if necessary), try installing SiteBuilder again to see if this resolves the issue.
