The Store Editor allows you to set sections or items as "specials". Sections or Items marked "special" will appear on your Home page. This is a great way to promote sale items or slow sellers by giving them an increased presence in your store. This document will show you how to add specials directly from the Home page but you can also set specials by navigating to them in your store. You can also choose the specials format, and edit the appearance and text of specials when set to "as thumbnails".

To manage specials on the Home page:

1. From the Store Manager, open the Store Editor.
2. Click the red arrow in the Editor toolbar to switch the Store Editor to advanced mode.
3. Click the "Edit" button in the Editor toolbar while on the Home page.
4. Enter the IDs of the items or sections you wish to display as specials in the "Specials" field.
5. Click the "Update" button.

You will be taken to the home page and the item or section marked as special will appear on the page. When ready, click "Publish" to push these changes to your published store.

If you do not see the special appearing on the Home page, click the "Edit" button on the Home page, click the "Change" button for the Page-elements field, and make sure there is a number appearing next to the Specials box. If no number appears, then your Home page will not display specials.

Note: If you use database uploads to edit your site, you will need to reset all specials as using database uploads erases all items/sections marked as special.
