Setting up Incremental Pricing for Items

The Options field of an item can be used to implement incremental pricing. Incremental pricing lets you to add a specific extra cost associated with a specific option.

Here's an example of incremental pricing implemented within a single line in your Options field:

CPU "Pentium III 600mhz" "Pentium III 650mhz(+89.00)" "Pentium III 700mhz(+109.00)"

In this example, your item has an option called "CPU" -- if your customer chooses the "Pentium III 600mhz" option, no incremental price is added to the "Price" of the item.

If your customer chooses the "Pentium III 650mhz(+89.00)" option, $89 is added to the price of the 650mhz item.

If the customer chooses the "Pentium III 700mhz(+109.00)" option, then $109 is added to the price of the 700mhz item.

The Yahoo! Store software looks for the "(+" immediately before the incremental price.
