Adding a partner to your store's API access list

Before a merchant can add a partner to their store's API access list, the partner must provide them with their Partner ID. If a merchant wishes to make their own API calls, they must add their own Partner ID to their store's API access list.

To add a Partner ID to your store's API access list:

  1. In Store Manager, click the "Real-Time Links" link, located in the Order Settings column.
  2. Click the "API Settings" link.
  3. In the API Settings section, click the "Add New Partner" button.

  4. Enter the Partner ID, select which APIs the partner may access, then click "Next".

  5. Accept the Terms of Service.

Once the partner ID has been added, a partner access token will be generated and sent via email to both the partner and the merchant. The partner will receive this token information at the email address provided in their Application for Partner Access. Merchants will receive the partner's token information at the email address associated with their Yahoo! store. Merchants should note that this email address may not necessarily be their Yahoo! ID or alternate email address.

Note: Yahoo! Merchant Solutions APIs are available with Merchant Solutions Standard, Professional, and Yahoo! Store packages.
