Yes. Merchants who do not participate in Yahoo! Shopping are not required to use the Merchant Rating System.

Merchants who participate in Yahoo! Shopping cannot turn off the rating system for their Yahoo! Merchant Solutions store. Shoppers who visit a Yahoo! Merchant Solutions store by way of Yahoo! Shopping will always be given the opportunity to rate the merchant from which they purchased.

To turn off merchant ratings:

1. From the Store Manager, click the "Checkout Manager" link in the Order Settings column.
2. In the Global Settings section of Checkout Manager, click the "Checkout Settings" tab.
3. In the Ratings section, click the "Disable" radio button.
4. Click the "Save" button.
5. Publish your Order Settings.
