Am I compliant because Yahoo! is a CISP-compliant service provider?

No. While Yahoo! is a CISP-compliant service provider, it is the responsibility of merchant account providers, working in conjunction with merchants or qualified security assessors, to determine what actions, policies, or practices may be needed by a merchant to achieve compliance with the standards. Yahoo! can only provide general suggestions as to what may constitute a violation of CISP/PCI security requirements. Visa, MasterCard and other credit card associations are the sole arbiters of the security requirements set forth by them.

The information provided here by Yahoo! as of 6/17/05 is for informational purposes only. Yahoo! makes no representation as to the accuracy of this information and merchants are advised to use the links to credit card associations provided within these documents for the CISP/PCI information and latest updates. Please note that the credit card association security programs may change without notice at any time.
