After you initiate the transfer process, our domain registration partner, Melbourne IT, will send an email to the administrative or registrant contact listed in your domain records. You'll have 5 days to complete the steps in that email to authorize the transfer.

After 5 days, your transfer request will expire, and you'll need to start the process again.

Please note: If your transfer steps require you to enter a registry key instead of an authorization code, this step does not apply to you. (We'll let you know what you need to do when you begin the domain transfer process.)
