The Site Summary section of your Site Traffic page provides you with a summary overview of key site traffic metrics, and compares data for the selected time period (last 7 days, last 30 days, or last 365 days) with the time period previous to that (previous 7 days, previous 30 days, or previous 365 days). This comparison lets you see how your site is performing, and may help alert you to any potential site or referral site issues that you may wish to investigate.

• Unique visitors — Number of unique visitors who accessed your web site during the selected time period
• Visits — Total number of visits to your web site during the selected time period, including repeat visitors
• Page views — Total number of views of web site pages during the selected time period
• Average pages per visit — Average number of pages viewed by visitors in a single visit during the selected time period
• Average time spent — Average amount of time (in minutes) visitors spent viewing your web site during the selected time period
• New visitors (#) — Number of visitors who accessed your web site for the first time during the selected time period
• New visitors (%) — Percentage of visits by visitors who accessed your web site for the first time during the selected time period
• Bounce rate — Percentage of visits that resulted in visitors exiting your web site during the selected time period

You may view this summary information for all traffic sources for your web site, for only traffic referred by search engines, or for traffic referred by other sites. To select the traffic sources you wish to view this site data for, use the drop-down list located in the upper-right corner of the Site Summary section, and "All traffic sources," "Search engines," or "Referring sites."

Not all site traffic metrics listed above are shown at once in this section. When you access this page, you'll see a note stating "1 to 5 of 8 items" in the upper-right corner. Use the arrows above this note to view information for each site traffic metric. Click on a site metric to update the graph with data for that site metric.

Selecting a Time Period

You may change the time period you wish to display your site traffic information for. You can select to view information for the last 7-day period and the previous 7-day period, the last 30-day period and the previous 30-day period, and the last 365-day period and previous 365-day period. (Viewing data for these time periods requires that this data is available.)

To select one of these time periods, click the "7D" (7-day) button, "30D" (30-day) button, or "365D" (365-day) button located at the top of your Site Traffic page. The time period you select will be applied to all data on your Site Traffic page.
