Yahoo! Business Email offers several tools to help you keep spam out of your inbox.
-
Use SpamGuard Plus. Yahoo! SpamGuard Plus automatically filters suspected spam to your Spam folder, but it also remembers what you consider spam — and automatically filters those messages to the appropriate folder.
Whenever you receive a spam message, click the "Spam" button at the top of your Yahoo! Business Email inbox. The more you mark messages as spam, the more you train SpamGuard Plus — and the better it works for you. (Note that SpamGuard Plus is available only to those users with Business Email addresses associated with a Yahoo! ID.)
- You can create filters to deliver emails to a special folder or to the Trash based on specific words or phrases they contain, a sender's domain, or any other characteristics you specify.
-
Block spammers' email addresses and web sites. Though this can be effective initially, be aware that many spammers frequently change their email addresses to avoid this technique.
Besides using these tools, follow our general spam guidelines.
