It is possible. To prevent that from happening, each time you exit your email account, you should sign out completely, close the browser, and clear the cache.

To log out completely, click the Sign Out link located on the top-right corner of the page.

Then, if another person uses the same computer, he will be returned to the sign-in screen each time he tries to view the history. This is especially important if you use a public or shared computer.
