Other Email Clients

In order to use an email client to send and receive Yahoo! Business Email messages, you must designate a new incoming (POP) mail server and a new outgoing (SMTP) mail server.

If you can't add new POP or SMTP servers, you will need to change your current server settings. Write down your current settings first — you may need to revert to your original settings later if you decide to send and receive messages from your other email addresses.

Here are the basic server settings for Yahoo! Business Email:

Incoming mail (POP3) server:

pop.bizmail.yahoo.com
Use SSL, port: 995

Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:

smtp.bizmail.yahoo.com
Use SSL, port: 465, and use authentication

Account name/user name:

Your Business Email address, such as you@widgetdesigns.com

Email address:

Your Business Email address, such as you@widgetdesigns.com

Password:

Your Business Email password

NOTE: In some cases you may be unable to use SSL for both the incoming and outgoing server. If you are unable to use SSL set the incoming server port to 110, and the outgoing server to either 25 or 587.
