Can I add an image to my signature with HTML?

This help article applies only to the latest version of Business Email.

At this time, we don't officially support HTML in signatures, however you can try this workaround for including an image in your signature. Using Internet Explorer you may be able to add an image to your email signature by following these steps:

Note: The image must be on the web, not on your computer and these instructions have only been found to work using Internet Explorer.

  1. First locate the image you want to display on your signature.
  2. Right-click on the image and select "Copy", from the menu that appears, or press Ctrl+C on your keyboard.

Note: You may not be allowed to copy some web images due to HTML or copyright restrictions on the page.

  3. Sign in to your Yahoo! Business Email account.
  4. From the main Yahoo! Business Mail page, click the "Options" link in the upper-left corner of the page (if you're using the original version of Business Email "Options" is located in the upper-right corner of the page).

  7. Your current signature, if any, will be displayed in the text area. You can type over the existing text to update or modify the signature.

Select "Show a rich text signature" from the pull-down list above the signature text box and then create the text portion of your signature.

Note: Adding an image to the signature will not work if "Show a plain text signature" is selected.

  8. Place the cursor where you would like the image to be inserted in the signature.
  9. Paste your copied image by right clicking and choosing "Paste" or by pressing Ctrl+V.
  10. When you're done, either navigate away from the Signature page or close the "Options" tab and your changes will be saved.
