Why isn't my ID being saved to the list?

If your Yahoo! ID isn't being stored correctly in the ID reminder list, please check the following reasons why this might be happening:

  • If you have an account with one of our access partners (Rogers, BT, or SBC), your Yahoo! ID is not displayed in the pull-down menu, whether you check the box or not.
  • This setting is stored per computer. When you save certain Yahoo! IDs on your home computer and your work computer, the list might look different depending on which Yahoo! IDs you've saved.
  • If you regularly delete your cookies or have software installed that regularly deletes cookies, this feature will not work correctly.
  • This feature stores the most recent five Yahoo! IDs (and aliases) in the pull-down menu. When a sixth Yahoo! ID signs in, the Yahoo! ID that logged in the longest time ago is removed from the list.
  • This feature is set up to automatically turn off when more than five different Yahoo! IDs (or aliases) sign in within one week. Our system detects that this computer is used in a high traffic area such as a library or Internet cafe. The feature is turned off to protect your privacy.
