The following are the conditions of the Yahoo! Buyer Protection Program:

  • The buyer has purchased the item in good faith from the merchant and never received the item, or the item received is materially different from the merchant's published description.
  • The complaint has gone through the Yahoo! Complaint Resolution Process.
  • Items damaged during shipping are not covered. Please contact your shipping carrier for information about its reimbursement policy.
  • The buyer must file the claim within 60 days of the purchase. This means that the final claim must be postmarked to our claims administrator by this date.
  • The program does not cover the payment if any part of the payment was sent by wire transfer or sent to a post office box or sent to any international location.
  • There's a limit of two claims per user for Yahoo! Shopping items covered under the Buyer Protection Program.
  • Yahoo!, in its sole discretion, makes all final determinations regarding Buyer Protection Program claims.
