You can register any host address or even a directory path on a specific host as your site. For example, ycoolthing.com and http://www-cs-faculty.stanford.edu/~knuth are both valid sites.

The host or path that you provide for the site is considered the site root and all feeds are expected to be located under it. We will provide you additional information for the pages under the site root when you have authenticated the site.
